Visitor Care 

• Acting as a liaison between visitors and OEM 
• Greeting and welcoming visitors to OEM (Tour of property, description of ministry, local town, rules, etc.) 
  • Make them feel welcomed and at home 
• Communicating jobs, traveling info and other important information with missions team leaders after they have been accepted by the director and board 
  • Book accommodations for short-term mission teams 
  • Collecting a needs list from the national director, local missions director, and the property manager 
• Communicating the needs training and missions programs that OEM has approved 
• Developing resources 
  • A “How To Run A Missions Trip With Excellence” packet as a resource for OEM and beyond 
  • A proposal to handle visitors of OEM in an organized fashion that will be implemented in OEM when approved by the national office and director 
• Collecting the contact information of every visitor to OEM 
• Pray for guests/over beds with verse cards prior to arrival 
• Open to sharing devotional/testimony with teams 
• Mentoring teams/interns as fitting or needed 
• Loving on team throughout stay 
  • Spending time with team to encourage, support, and pour into both during and outside of programs 
  • Pastor, document, lead God Hunt – blog time?? 
  • Leading and/or Booking God Hunts & Devotionals 
• Stretches 
• Intro to Edge | Open house for base (annually)

Hosting Program (longer-term teams, ministries, teams, staff, interns, short term individuals) 

• Check-in and check-out of all visitors and groups (including verse cards on beds, welcome drink, welcoming talk, preparations, clean up etc.) 
• Collect finances 
  • Rent, deposit, utilities fees, etc. received by guests 
  • Donations received by visitors and guests 
  • Turn all money and reports into logistics person 
  • Collect and return deposit; perform walk thru as needed 
• Facilitate Edge Tours to share the vision and mission of the mission’s base to visitors & potential donors 
  • Arrange additional tours 
• Educate and encourage guests to care for the Edge by casting vision, caring for, giving basic Edge rules and chores (as appropriate) 
• Manage keys and AC remotes
  • Collect money for a/c use and key/lock replacement 
• Prepare rooms for guests 
  • Sheets and towels 
• Maintain order in laundry room 
  • Maintain storage and laundry area, including doing laundry from guest’s stay (sheets, kitchen towels, cleaning rags, etc.) 
• Arrange cleaning service as needed, as well as supervising hired workers  
• Managing team schedule

Housekeeping Manager
