Costa Rica Mission Trips For Groups
At Oceans Edge Ministry, we invite churches, schools, and organizations to bring mission teams to Costa Rica for an unforgettable, purpose-filled experience. Our group mission trips are designed to immerse your team in cross-cultural ministry that encourages spiritual growth, strengthens community, and promotes a lifestyle of service.
Your team will join us in ongoing local outreach—whether through youth and teen ministry, sports programs, feeding and caring for the homeless, serving in the drug rehab center, leading young adult events, assisting with church gatherings, construction projects, or beautifying the community through clean-ups and restoration work. Each activity is an opportunity to serve with love and shine Christ’s light in real, practical ways.

The Experience: Living On The Edge
The Edge, Oceans Edge Ministry’s missions base, is nestled in the heart of the vibrant beach town of Jaco, Costa Rica. With hostel-style bunkrooms and a community-centered atmosphere, it serves as a home base for teams who come ready to serve, grow, and make an impact.
Jaco is a town of striking contrasts. Surrounded by ocean waves, lush jungles, and towering mountains, it radiates natural beauty and rich culture. Yet beneath its surface, the town wrestles with the effects of mass tourism—struggles like sex trafficking, addiction, and poverty. In the midst of that brokenness, God’s light is breaking through, and your team can be part of that redemptive work.
Mission teams partner directly with the local church and government to serve where the need is greatest. Each day offers hands-on ministry opportunities that bring hope and transformation. Your team will not only serve the community but also be poured into spiritually. Discipleship and mentoring are woven into the daily rhythm, equipping each member to grow in their faith while learning to live a lifestyle of missions.
