What is the Divine Destiny Assessment?

The Divine Destiny Assessment (DDA) was designed with you in mind, to help you discover your unique combination of gifts and to celebrate God’s fingerprint on your life in a tangible way.

It was specifically engineered to combine several different personality assessments, while also providing the results as a reflection of the spiritual gifts you’ve been given. Our hope is that this process would help you discover your divine destiny and empower you to walk it out.

Each of our personalities have been influenced and shaped by the adage ‘nature vs nurture.’ Nature denotes how you uniquely reflect something true about the God of the universe. This is your “home base,” or where you prefer to be when you have no outside pressures. This is where you will go to relax and be yourself. And increadible this is the way you testify to God’s goodness.

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” … So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” (Romans 1:20, NIV).

Whereas nurture shapes us through outside pressures like: upbringing, being a parent, employee, spouse, past trauma, seasons of growth, etc. But ‘nature vs nurture’ is not the only thing that has influenced our personalities and destinies…

Favor Freely Given

The Greek word for “gift” is “χάρισμα (khárisma),” which is where we get our English word “charisma.” This word means “favor freely given” or “gift of grace.” Each of us has been freely entrusted with specific gifts from the God who created us. These gifts can be clustered into four different categories, displayed below:

It’s so valuable to be aware of one another’s gifts and to not place judgment on any one of them, because each of us is seeing the world through our own unique lens and responding to the world around us through the God-given motivations placed there.

“It’s not conformity, it’s unity, which brings synergy when all parts are functioning as they were created to be.”

With this in mind, we hope this assessment will help you recognize, appreciate and respect the individual differences and preferences of others around you. God created each of us very differently on purpose, and sometimes it can be difficult to understand and appreciate those differences. But what a beautiful world it can be when we do!

Brainstorm your personal strategy to live out your destiny this year

So, you’ve taken your assessment, received your colorful results, and are excited to take action! Now what? We’ve listed these next steps to help you out…

1. Define What You want to accomplish.

Consider how to use of all your gifts and skills to get what you really want? This wholeness approach allows you to align all the areas of your life to make sure you are working effectively. It can also help you to identify areas of need growth and/ or partnerships.

Then look and the bigger picture. Recognize yourself as a part of a whole, a marriage, team, and community. Spiritual gifts were given to us to be a supernatural blessing to be passed on to one another. According to scripture, God poured out His gifts upon us so that we could be a light in the world, a positive impact, and so that we could build others up, functioning in our own gifts and playing our part to enhance the synergy that is created when each of us puts our unique gifts on display.

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:4-7, NIV)

Tip 1: Make a list of 25 things you would like to accomplish in your life and follow the Warren Buffet’s 25-5 Rule. Once you have successfully identified your top 25 goals in life you can pick the top 5 to focus on.

Tip 2: Use the Eisenhower Decision Matrix, a highly effective tool used to prioritize your actions & tasks.

Urgent | Important
(Do immediately)
Not urgent | Important
(Schedule for later)
Urgent | Not important
(Delegate)
Not Urgent | Not Important
(Eliminate

Consider this little ‘life hack’ as a gift from us to you 😉 Make sure you set aside the first part of your day to work on your most urgent and important tasks. The better you guard this time the more effective you will be.

Tip 3: Assume Your Position. You will never achieve your destiny alone because you were created to be part of a community. Disengage your focus from solely yourself and place it on the people in your environment and how you can more effectively work together to accomplish a greater good.

2. Attitude is everything!

Life. is. hard. – anybody want to argue that fact with me? Set yourself up for a life of success by setting aside time to care for the inner you. These little tips are sure to put a smile on your face, a pep in your step and a song in your heart.

Tip 1: Make a list of 25 things that bring you joy, happiness and fulfillment 🙂 Keep this list close and take a glance at it each day and make sure you add a few of them into your schedule. When life starts to get you down we suggest you add them in like a kid would add sprinkles on their favorite dessert. Be proactive by replacing negative stressors in your life with items from your list, and more joy into your day.

Tip 2: Be “ALL-IN” when in comes to your health. Eating well and exercising releases endorphins and produces serotonin. Both will trigger a positive feeling, improve the effectiveness of your sleep, boost self-esteem and reduce stress, anxiety and feelings of depression. Avoid numbing counterfeits like excessive alcohol and drugs.

Similarly, expanding your understanding and knowledge can give you that boost of confidence when facing complex circumstances and questions. There is nothing new under the sun” Ecc. 1:9 Someone else has done the hard work of figuring out most of the challenges we will face and we have the benefit of living in the information age. Learning from other people’s experiences can be a great short cut as well can offering a feeling of self-validation.

My all time go to is the Bible which offers an incredible about of wisdom and hope. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

“And this is eternal life: to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God” (John 17:3 AMP, emphasis mine).
